Two Blogs You Might Like
Posted in Blogosphere on | 1 minute | 2 Comments →Every once in a while I do a blog shout-out. Last time, it was Andrés Ruiz. This time—since i’ve been absent for a while—I’ll do two: Unshielded Colliders (Jonathan Livengood) and Disputed Issues (Stephen R. Diamond). I discovered both through their comments at CSA. I like Diamond’s exploration of semantics and the way our language shapes our beliefs, and I like Livengood’s general “hold on let’s take a cold hard look at this” approach to making sense of data. Great stuff, both are now in my links.

It’s funny, I know that spot where you’re sitting in the photo on your blog. You’re looking east at the Ocean Beach apartments directly towards Safeway. And, if I didn’t know better, I’d say you skated because of that red-looking swellbow on your right arm. If not, you can disregard that part of the comment :)
I spent some time reading your post about whether that which cannot be measured exists. I don’t have much of an opinion on that question, but I loved how you spun into it with that bit about Pujols. I’m a Tigers fan myself. I never thought to mix baseball and philosophy in a post.
